About
[ WHOAMI ]
Daniel Klausen. Developer, based in Norway. Builds websites, web apps, and the occasional spaceship.
[ BACKGROUND ]
Hello, I'm Daniel. I've been coding and working with computers most of my life — I still remember my sister's boyfriend showing me HTML for the first time when I was around 12, and I was amazed. My interest drifted in and out over the years, until I finally did a stint at university and got a master's in information science, which involved a good amount of coding — everything from JavaScript and CSS to Java.
I currently work as a web developer, did freelance work for some years, and I'm hoping to do more in-depth code work in the future.
[ INTERESTS ]
In my spare time I love playing D&D — I DM a campaign for my siblings and play in another. I bake my own sourdough bread; I got addicted and can no longer live with store-bought bread. A classic self-inflicted curse.
I love going to the gym and work out about three times a week, when life doesn't get in the way. I also try to read as much as possible, both physical books and audiobooks. I game when I can find the time — mostly RPGs, though I do have 2,000 hours in Path of Exile and have finished most of the Dark Souls games (not Elden Ring). And I love to cook, especially making big meals for friends and family.
[ CONTACT ]
That's mostly it — that's me. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions; I don't have social media anymore.
